Well the most basic thing about medication is not adjusting it without telling your doctor. But good luck anyway.
Been there many times so have no right to judge but I won’t give you a like. But will an
as it keeps the doctor away. How long has this been going on btw?
Hmm … Not a very smart thing to do - as a matter of fact its a good way to get destabilized again.
I would contact your doctor, and if you want to stop taking meds, make sure you follow the doctors direction - I too want to lower my meds drastically, but I am following my doctors orders - she usually allows one month to 6 weeks for every dose reduction
Basically I have missed more than a few doses since landing (by accident) and I havent really noticed any symptoms yet, I took one last night but it didnt help I got all tired and my eyes got sore so I said to myself I will just take as needed now.
Daydreamer, it usually takes 3 to 6 months for symptoms reappear after coming off meds. And when symptoms reappear, you usually need higher dose than before to suppress it. Keep us posted to see how things go with you.
You need to keep the medicine in your bloodstream consistently. Any missed dose will cause problems unless you get right back on. I know you are feeling good now, but it is a false high and a sign that you are becoming symptomatic again. You’ve lost the mental where-with-all to understand how your medicine works. This is serious and you need to get back on it.
You’re on vacation in another country and you don’t want your world to come crashing down in a place where you don’t speak the language (if you don’t speak Greek).
I think I need to take them if not for me then for everybody else, I dont think I could handle having all these feelijgs that have been buried come right back up to the fore while on holiday in a different country.
I have been having some health concerns tho and this was one of the main reasons for trying to stop its basically getting to the stage that I cant take them anymore, pains in my chest and bloatedness as well as side effects like eye problems and tiredness,
also I heard med was an immunosuppressamt and I am literally shitting myself that I wont survive the winter, each winter cold seems to get worse and lasts longer now than ever and just tonight I feel myself coming down with it with a sore throat
I need some help here, I usually just get on with things and pretend they are not happening but I cant sweep this under the carpet now,
I’m going to take a lozenge now
It wouldn’t be too hard to call the doc and let him know what happened and get back on track. Then no harm no foul. I hope things go well and you feel better soon.
I’m glad your taking the holiday into consideration as well. It’s stressful enough to do that while level.
Good luck.
