My weight has been holding steady at 230 lbs., even when I load up on the calories, but yesterday I ate two pints and 10 oz. of chocolate fudge swirl ice cream. That is going a little overboard. In the program I am in we used to sometimes go to a drive in and get this small dab of vanilla ice cream, and we were grateful to get that. There was a saying among the ancient Roman stoic philosophers - “Hunger is the best spice.” That carton of ice cream cost me right at $2.00, though. It wasn’t economically reckless anyway.
