Figring out how efficient my panels are, how much my 25 year old absorption fridge draws when running on AC, and how much it impacts the 2000 WH capacity of my power bank. At the moment I either need more panels or I’m running the fridge off of propane. I’ll also run out of power overnight if I don’t add the expansion battery.

I wanted solar power but it was too expensive back when I tried to get it.
I would love to use solar power but i live in an apartment complex. It would save me so much money in the summer! In the winter…maybe not so much.

Not as much as you would expect. Running a hotplate or even making toast drops the power reserves quickly and can burn off an afternoon of sunlight. I have to be a real miser with power to make this work. My wife is in for a rude awakening when she realizes you don’t run appliances like you do at home when you’re boondocking.
