It's very empowering

Medical-hospital-clinic online portals where you can see your medical history and a lot of other things. I like that I can see after visit summaries and notes to all my visits. It’s interesting to see your health through the eyes of the doctor. It’s really helpful to see a list of all my test results and medications and diagnosis. And I like that I can send a PM to my doctor with questions. Anyone else use these websites and do you find them helpful? I can’t ever remember these being discussed on here before.

I had a few readings that were too high and some that were too low. My doctor said nothing to worry about though. I remember my creatinine was out of whack but my AIC was down, I’m now in the pre-diabetes range rather then the diabetes range.

That’s a good achievement.

Yea my creatine was quite high, borderline abnormally high last year but this year it was better I suspect that it might be cos I drank 3 litres of water night b4 and another 3 that following morning so they could draw blood out of me. They said this would not affect t results so maybe it didn’t

Creatine results can be associated with the kidneys.

I got my pulmonary function test results thru the patient portal but honestly couldn’t make heads or tails out of them. I guess my doctor will have to translate! I just know that a lot of values were red, IDK what it means, tho.

Yeah, they use a a lot of terms I don’t understand in the results. I just copy and paste words and terms I don’t know into my search bar and read what they mean.
