That’s the thing about hallucinations; They can sound clear as day. That’s why people have trouble telling them apart from real life, because they feel like real life.

What makes you so sure it IS?
I get that it can be scary to admit that you’re not in control of the sensory input your brain decides to trick you with, but it’s important that you at least consider the fact that you could be wrong.
There is no logical reason for your neighbour to be yelling random obscenities at you on a daily basis, and there is no logical reason for them knowing where you are in your apartment and following you around.
Either it’s a coincidence caused by not-very-sound-absorbing flooring (like he’s yelling and someone else and just randomly moving around), or it might be in your head.
I can understand it’s frightening, but there’s no use in making a bunch of posts about it on a website for people who hear things that aren’t there if you’re just going to take offense at the suggestions that you too might be hearing things that aren’t real. Sorry to say it.
I think part of you knows it might be in your head, and I can understand why that’s a hard pill to swallow, but like I said, at this point, you might need to consider the possibility that that’s what it is.
I think Roxana knows the voices are hallucinations but she keeps writing about them because they persist and she wants to share.

I think that the best method to deal with these things is to develop a thick skin.
