We have several of his books we picked up when Scholastica or whatever the book flyer was called was a thing. They were much cheaper back then. Ours are dog eared and spine broken from years of enjoyment.

I loved it when I was younger and it was still in the papers. But after being a parent and through the lens of time… A lot of the strips are so much more powerful now.

I found them very powerful back when I was a teenager. The amazing imagination was what kept me wondering about other things. It wasn’t about questioning authority but common sense.
