Love comes and goes, but money is a constant. Never put love ahead of money, imo.

The only reason I want to amass a fortune is to find a quality love. I feel that I need another person to be whole, I tried the solitary route for too many years and I self-destructed.
My parents grew up co-dependent, so I feel I need that kind of relationship. Fixing that is like climbing Mt. Everest.

I self-destructed alone, too. But there is quite an art to living with others without them destroying you, also. Man against man. I’d rather be practical and live for an honest dollar.

Finding good company is ideal. Not enablers necessarily but not abusers, either. Something in the middle.
Well, good luck to you finding that kind of company. I have lived in this group home for 15 years but keep to myself a lot. We have differences, but it’s livable.

Very funny. Is the need for love as incessant as the need for money? Or is that just childish?
My need for love is very high. I hug my wife many times a day. I don’t know what I’d do without those hugs

I like money too but finding true love would be hard to find for someone like me but money is impossible to make with this condition. I guess ill do with what i get paid from the government which is very little. I would rather have peace and harmony over money though.
I want peace and harmony, too. I was not thinking about large quantities of money. Money is necessary for survival.

@PinCushion wtf you talking about love is way more important than money. Sheet if I had to pawn my wedding ring to give my ailing dog one more year of life, I’d gladly do it. I’d do anything for a friend, loved one or pet. Without love, what would be the point of money? Money will leave you in love with self, but not loving and experiencing life.
