It's 3:40am here. Is anyone up?

Just curious who’s up at this time of night. I’m waiting for a friend to call me. She’s normally up now because her boyfriend works the night shift.

Its 3:15 pm here.

I’ve been getting up at 4:30 or 5am to take Meloxicam for arthritis pain. It takes a couple of hours to work.

Is that an opiate? If it is I would’ve enjoyed it. Personally Im on my 6th beer listening to some music trying to get my sleep rythm in order. I have a friend who is a girl I really like talking to her its annoying me that she doesn’t answer…

It’s not an opiate. It’s a NSAID, NonSteroiidal Anti-Inflamatory Drug. In the US it’s only available with a doctor’s prescription. My primary care doctor just diagnosed me with osteoarthritis last Monday.

It kinda looks like she’s not going to call. I might as well stay up though.

Hi Mike I’m awake.

I took my night meds about an hour ago. Been up all night.

I slept maybe three hours. I’ve been doing this ever since I switched to Abilify. I used to sleep 10 to 12 hours on Zyprexa.

Talking with a friend now but enjoy your night sir

I think Meloxicam is the generic for Mobic
My father takes it once in a while for his chronic pain.

Yes it’s Mobic. It’s prescribed for arthritis. I’ve been taking it for a week now. It really helps with the pain and stiffness.
