Yeah it might be too much for some of us.
Especially because online interactions can be so different than what is normally considered appropriate face-to-face.
Based on some of the exchanges I’ve seen here, things might get awkward.
Especially because we all seem to suffer from some base layer of paranoia.

I don’t know how I would go as a sober being.
I can have difficulties socialising like many others on the forum.
Specially for a long time.
Maybe if we had our own hotel room or room to recharge and then back to mingle place.
Maybe we would become great friends in real life and meet in person sometimes.
A lot of us don’t have friends or don’t have many.
I would worry if someone tried dominating me suppressing me and being aggressive to me in their mannerism.
I would probably just avoid them then.
Hopefully we would all be nice to each other.

I wouldn’t attend a meeting for this site, but I would attend a schizophrenia convention as has been mentioned.

Could you imagine how chaotic a Zoom or Teams meeting would be? Look at us…stomping all over each other banging out posts in different threads at all times…
Then there would be the ever-present paranoia of people not showing their face, or being asleep (or pretending to be asleep), or on the commode when the meeting commences…yeesh. Coordinating a bunch of frazzled high functioning schizophrenics would be like trying to catch 100 chickens with your bare hands.
I can play songs and make everyone leave immediately rofl
The more I think about it, we already are socializing with each other…on this site.

this type of thing has happen before. ask the web master , what something like this costs, and he well tell you its the sales that make the money. a choice few would have to entertain and book sales as sponsors would get to pitch there books. hell ask tom fuller, he tours years ago.
I’ll actually make flags and bring them to the meeting.
