It could have been a healthy,intelligent discussion but of course some people have to spoil things.

@firemonkey I closed the Syria thread if that’s the thread you were referring to.
Well whoever closed the thread same points apply.
Why don’t we just close all of the threads, and only leave open the ones that talk about butterflies and candy canes?

Idk… I’m honestly surprised some of my dark posts don’t get flagged. Maybe its apparent I’m trying still… Idk…
I didn’t see @firemonkey post today… Or I’d perhaps give more input… I think overall the mods are trying to apply the guidelines as they are currently… And I know at times there are surveys on rules…
But truth is, we are mostly all very sensitive it seems to me and its kinda different here than a debate at college or the like.
And I think the mods are doing their jobs as the rules apply.
After the 4th flag (plus 2 additional post deletions) I decided it was time to lock the thread/topic. Saves the mods a lot of time since we have to respond to every flag.
