It seems I get unstable whenever I work alot

I was filling in as a temp for the summer and took on a lot of work. I ended up working two 6 day weeks. Then 3 days the week after that.

I just got my partial disability so I didn’t have to take on all the work. I got through it, but I was struggling in the end.

I guess my motive was to make sure they would keep using me in the future. Lets be honest, employers usually don’t want to hire in 2 or 3 people part time to work as temps if they can hire one and get the same job done. Or at least that’s my impression.

I’m glad that heavy work is behind you. I don’t work full-time because I would be stressed. I assume I would have symptoms being stressed. Namely my intrusive thoughts and voice getting bad on top of it all. So, I understand.

I can’t handle working. I might try again though

Thanks. Yes, that’s exactly it. The stress gets to me after a while and makes the marbles roll upstairs.

When I was working this past spring, long shifts would really mess me up. the stress led to me mentally breaking down. i think for people with sz, jobs that aren’t stressful are ideal.

I get stressed so easily. Its amazing you could handle it. I tried being a delivery driver but had to quit cause i kept getting paranoid and driving would become dangerous

I can drive if it’s in the afternoon or evening and stress free, but in the morning I don’t dare. Too much fogginess from the drugs.

I work at a place that opens at 11am, so that suits me pretty good.
