Can you describe Nosferatu? Both versions and the difference

Nosferatu is an old 20s silent German expressionist film. You can find it streaming online though on a lot of websites with different soundtracks. It’s absolutely amazing though. Just a pure work of art, and such great atmosphere.

The remake came out in the early 70s (If I’m not mistaken) and was directed by Werner Herzog.

Herzog pretty much stuck to the spine of the original story but added in some commentary about the black plague and a little weird philosophy about life and the vampire being a metaphor for death and fate.

And the remake has dialogue too, and a really good soundtrack.

I gotta say, I prefer the original 1922 version myself. Max Shreck ( German for “shriek”) as Count Orlok, the entire production is as creepy and oppressive as you could want, and this was 1922!!

Yeah man, kinda amazing how well the film remains scary for being over 100 years old!

The Grudge. Gave me nightmares for years.

I don’t watch scary movies (or movies in general) as much because I don’t really have time for them, but I thought “The Exorcist” and “The Shining” were interesting.

:DD it’s the most stupid parody of all the horror movies. But I love it.

I Am Legend is one of my favorite movies as well. I really liked Will Smith before he went off the wall.
