It is autumn

It is autumn now, leaves are changing their colours, the highest temp is +5 C degrees, soon it will be winter and I can wear my fur hats. I had my annual appointment at the hospital and got some tips how to exercise in winter, I have gained 8 kg weight since my previous appointment (to check my blood sugar, blood pressure and other blood values), so one of my objectives is to lose this 8 kg in one year.

ALo like the brown hat it seem like it has highlight in it .

It is Spring here but everything is so so dry. We are having bushfires every day. I’m scared I will get a knock on the door at 3am one day and it will be police or fire services telling me to evacuate. My whole suburb was evacuated a couple of years ago due to a fire.

What country are you from @anon60523054 ?

It is still pretty much summer here in Oklahoma. I’m ready for the heat to break.

Do you have much precipitation @crimby in the cool season?

That’s kind of erratic. We usually get very little snow, especially in the last few years. We got more rain than usual this year, but that was mostly during the hot months.

It’s not here my friend. We are in spring and we’ve already had days of 30 degrees C. I’m typing this with no shirt on. No air con but it’s shirt off weather and you have to be comfortable.

Need rain. We’re in drought yet again and it sux. It’s so dry and everything is that pale green which you find over here in Australia. I loved the fall in America but only saw it fleetingly!

Oh ya. Leaves are changing. Things are dying. Birds are flocking. Good riddance summer.

It is nice to go and ride my bicycle in the morning when it is quite cold already, close to zero C degrees, it is refreshing and it is also nice to go to the forest area we have here and see leaves changing colours.

Australia mate.

I wish it felt like fall here. It’s still in the 80s and 90s here. :frowning:

Are fires a lately new thing? since australia is being so much more developed? I hope you have a town where you can go and be safe. But it is not good to worry . Maybe make a little plan about where to go and where to stay and have money for it. We have had 4 years of fires again since the chaparral has gotten over grown again. every 50 years or so they say we have fires. 3 years ago we were evacuated and went to the state park for a week. All of a sudden it hit, so we spent a few hours getting prepared.
