I have heard that there is more arsenic? I think in brown rice, but at very large volumes.

I never knew this.

The problem with brown rice it’s so hard and grainy.

And white rice gives me better energy. And less food binge cravings

I wouldn’t say white rice is unhealthy although it’s not very nutritious. In moderation it’s all good.

Yes maybe you’re right. There’s ppl living to above a hundred who eat white rice… It tastes better.

Sure, for instance Japanese eat a lot of rice, so it doesen’t hurt them it seems. Although the reason Japanese people live longer than most populations is believed to be they eat a lot of seafood.

I never noticed this, I eat brown rice, but it seems the same as far as texture. The rice I cook takes about 45 min to cook so its kind of a hassle. Most of the white rice I see takes less.

Would you say white rice tastes better?

I don’t really know, I guess I don’t think about it… I usually have white rice only if I have Chinese food and I like it then. Don’t know.

Brown rice has sort of a nutty flavor, and a firmer texture. White rice tastes more bland, but that can make it easier to combine with other foods, because it doesn’t bring much of its own flavor. White rice is more absorbent, which makes a difference in liquid dishes.

Ahh… I eat uncle Ben’s chicken flavored rice, just pop it in the microwave.

I feel that with brown rice, the firmer texture maybe due to the fibre, makes me tired, maybe because more energy is expended in the digestion process Compared to white rice which doesn’t have that bran layer

Haha chat gpt is so cute!

My God, how on earth is AI capable of such a quick response, without using a person. But just a machine.

That sounds kind of similar to a dish I like to make. I can pass along the recipe if you like.

I can’t afford any more ingredients so I’ll have to stick to the basic bare necessity. But thanks!!

If you have lemon juice and/or garlic, that can be a great way to flavor the yogurt without adding sugar.
