i saw that in theatres years ago. i remember it being pretty good. idk wtf happened with this one lol its horrible and parts seem like it was made for a highschool film project or something lmao

its so funny the like stark contrast between the 2005 and the 2025 one lmao
this movie is like brain rot… i didnt watch it but it seems like they didnt even bother to make any actual alien scenes beyond a few snippets? The original was kind of a cinematic masterpiece atleast visually. i remember watching it 20 years ago (wow that feels weird to say) and remembering the scene where the aliens make a first appearance and everyone is running etc. Really was visually amazing looking up and seeing the massive alien things. That this is like the remake is so funny :rofl:

Surely the studios must see that just churning out the same crap is no longer a guaranteed pay day

Lol yea I saw an article in the news talking about how the film industry has been really crap lately. Who knows why. Maybe we just need to support indie films more. Could be that Disney just has too much money and the wage disparity between the film giants and actual new up coming artists is just so great that they aren’t being seen. That’s my guess anyways. I don’t think art disappears but it could be the good art just isnt getting out. Similar to how the radio plays a lot of bad songs.
