Hey guys… i am so confused, I swear
Most of the people say to me “your’e alright, youre doing well” but…
I think I still have few moments when I have hallucinations. For example: while I listen to music, sometimes I hear something which is not related to that song… like, I can hear loudly what I think- in music. For example song is like: “we found love in a hopeless place”…(:D) but I can hear something which is not the lyrics in that song, also not the rhythim… basically its hard to explain but I can SOMETIMES hear in music words, which I am thinking at the moment. Like i think I am stupid, and I could hear these words in the song. Really hard to explain, but… literally, is this possible for a person to hear what it wants to hear, for example, in music? I know, probably not, yet I am very confused.
I’m not sure. I think you should describe it to your psychiatrist and see what they say
Sometimes I get the feeling that I can sense other people like their being or essence or soul. With my previous psychotic brain it happened all the time. it hasn’t happened in a while. But maybe it’s just how your brain used to work without meds and it’s just remnants.
Like when I hang up the phone and I feel them. I’m not psychotic anymore it’s pretty much gone now
I think what your refering to is thought broadcasting or synchronicity. Yes it is a hallucination. Like its a special message from the radio? Or you relate to it in a strange way?
Actually no message - i just hear whatever I think right at the moment.
It happens not all the time, rarely but stil…
Like, imagine listening to music - for example just rhythim, without words - and I still hear words which are repeating and theyre mostly what i think at that moment. (They somehow sounds like part of the music, usually are not loud)
I actually understand that it could be hallucinations which sounds like my thoughts - but I am not 100%sure.
Yes i think its a hallucination but not sure. Definitely find a psychiatrist to get a medical opinion. But i hear messages in music that i know arent being said because i have listened to the song countless times so i can tell when it the lyrics go off track.
Wondering if you have ever been checked for tinnitus. If it only happens with music or with background white noise (like a fan or hvac system), it could just be ear damage.
I experienced that myself. Perhaps the best term is delusions of reference.
I can hear hallucinations that are very realistic and have heard words in songs changed. I don’t know how this happens?
Hey there! I also struggled to describe my audio hallucinations for a long time. Granted, I’m not saying what you’re experiencing is a hallucination; I’m not a doctor. But what I am saying is that I “hear” voices differently than most people. Because of this, doctors struggled to really understand that I “heard” things for a while.
I also describe mine as “loud thoughts”, so let me run by what I finally narrowed down. See if you relate at all.
It’s like I have a speaker inside my head. I don’t “hear” the voices in the world around me. There’s no voice coming from the other side of the room, or seeming to warp to the surrounding area. Instead, it’s almost like it fills all of the space it’s in, not originating from anywhere. It’s almost like someone is playing an audio log in my head, but I can hear it. I used to describe them as “loud thoughts” because I didn’t know what else to do. I’d never heard of anyone else hearing voices like I do, so I was basically all on my own figuring it out.
I don’t know if you relate to this. Maybe you do, maybe you don’t. If you do, I hope I gave you some language you can use to describe what you’re experiencing. I know how easy it is to be driven up the wall trying to describe something.
I can relate to this!!
Yesterday my doc explained that what I experience is actually voices, even though they are only in my head:)
I also have speaker in my head.
Now I know it’s really voices!
Glad I was able to help. I know how validating it can be to finally describe what you’re experiencing.
Thank you
You really helped me.
