I ask because it really looked like there was by watching the show tonight. I thought the strike was over. But the show was just awful tonight. Every skit seemed like a mish mash of incoherent random events thrown together.
I really was hoping for a laugh, so it’s not like I wasn’t doing my part. A couple little things made me chuckle here and there, but really, it was just bad. I couldn’t watch anymore and came in to express how terrible that show seems now.
They can’t even keep a coherent storyline going on in their skits, IMO.
HOnestly, I dont think the writers strike affected SNL anyway.
I just wanted to get my point across that they appeared to have no one writing for them. It’s almost like they just got together and threw together a bunch of random things to create a bunch of chaotic attempts to get a laugh.
