No but if you have more relapses then it can damage your brain more I have read

I’d say not. Medications for most stop it degenerating further. Parkinsons tends to be a slide into less function and most with sz hit a point where it’s not degenerating.

No its not a degenerative disease but it can lead to bad consequences in life and even suicide if untreated.

I have no idea

I tend not to think much

i dont think so. seems mostly people get progressively better and closer to recovery as they get older when the schizophrenia is treated properly. most people with parkinsons get worse over time and develop new symptoms even when being treated

Schizophrenia gets better I think ! I don’t believe it’s degenerative that’s non sense!

I don’t suffer with schizophrenia but years living with psychotic episodes have given me some brain damage.

Schizophrenia is not a progressive disease usually.

I think it is possible for sz to be degenerating, if you don’t take medicine.

Its not really progressive, though, if U stay on meds for a really long time U might develop Parkinsons or TD.

Be careful with ur life choices !

It depends on who you ask. I have seen some articles that say it is. They cite loss of brain loss in persons with the illness over the years. Other articles say that it is not.
