Is paranoia always a delusion?

Or is ”paranoid delusion” and ”paranoia” different

Paranoia is a feeling. Paranoid delusion is a delusion based off paranoia

Just asking but what’s the difference between suspiciousness and paranoia
My doc wrote I have them (and delusions which weirds me out)

You asked what the difference between paranoia and delusion is. Suspiciousness can lead to paranoia which can lead to a paranoid delusion

Ahh I see
So it’s possible to have all of them?

I would say if you got a paranoid delusion you feel suspicious and paranoid.

Paranoid delusions are different than paranoia.
I am always mildly paranoid but retain insight on meds.
Off meds I become manic and very delusional

Idk why my doc uses both terms?

idk if its a paranoid delusion or a persecutory delusion

My therapist does the same thing
They are wrong

Idk if I even have sz of any kind
I don’t really get what they mean

Persecutory and paranoid delusions are basically the same thing

@Crystal-Cotton You’ve repeatedly posted for the past 4 years on the forum about your persistent paranoid/persecutory delusions that your mother wants to kill you.

yes i know that but idk if its a delusion after all or just general paranoia

They are separate things that can occur together.

You can have a delusion about your mom killing you and be paranoid of your mother because of that delusion.

Why do you want us to convince you you’re ill so bad?
