Is my pdoc lying to me

Because ive been struggling to accept the sz. He’s now saying my symptoms can be attributed to autism but I need to be assessed. So I’m in the process of being assessed. But I don’t think autism causes psychosis

Again I’m not a doctor but he sounds like he’s full of shitt.

There’s a good chance that you have some autism but it doesn’t explain your psychotic break.

You could have some sort of psychotic disorder and autism.

I would consider seeing a different doctor honestly

He’s either incompetent or disingenuous

Either way, it doesn’t help you in any way

Unfortunately I dont have a choice , it’s the NHS but even then I guarantee he will leave at some point. They always do.

Yes it is. But Ive never struggled accepting the psychosis. Only I don’t believe I have sz or secretly I do but it’s a struggle.
