I don’t know. In my early 20s I lived with room mates and enjoyed it.
Maybe just a person in the home would help make you feel you have someone around, sharing the space, taking care of the place. And having them as a kind of friend.
I am 62 years old and have been living alone for over a decade and I love it.
I’m 63, and with the tv, my computer, and my books I’m fine.
I can live in my car if I have to - I just have my phone ipad blackout my windows.
My SSDI income would be overkill. I would do that if I was alone.
Being alone is hard because I think then I don’t exist. So I create an Alter to keep me company but he’s always mean.
