Is it even possible i don't have bipolar?

Or even schizophrenia. Because I have not had a psychosis since the beginning of April 2010. And I don’t know if what I have is axiety or bipolar./???

What does your pdoc say @anon80629714?

Intially it was sz, then sza, then bipolar… so can’t even trust them when they can’t stick to what they say.

I don’t have an assigned pdoc I see every week or month or few months. I see a pdoc but as and when needed and its not always the same pdoc.

Get another pdoc.

Oh yes, I get a new one everytime i am referred which is part of the problem. I never see the same one. I don’t have a choice as its free…

Does each new pdoc say you are bipolar?

The last one did. The before said sza. The few who saw me before that stuck to what was on the notes and said sz as well… So they all go by whats in the notes.

If I were you, I would get another new pdoc. They might have some new diagnosis for you.

I can’t as it’s NHS you don’t get to choose they just assign someone if the old pdoc left which happens a lot but they still go by the notes… so think shes gonna say bipolar anyway,

You don’t have psychosis. Maybe it was one and only episode. You’re lucky. See another pdoc just to be sure

What kind of medications are you taking @anon80629714?

I take a mood stabaliser (600mg Tegretol), an antipsychotic (10mg Abilify)

You definitely have a mood disorder. You experience mania and depression. It doesn’t really matter what it’s called as long as your symptoms are being managed.

You are probably taking the AP for mood stabilization. You have not been psychotic in 9 years. Maybe you are bipolar. Only your doctor would know for sure. Trust them @anon80629714.
