Neither, we keep the temperature in the house pretty warm, not hot not cold
Yes, I was reading that elderly people usually have lower body temperatures, but I am definitely not elderly. If you all are saying it’s nothing to be worried about though then I’m sure I’m fine. Thank you all
Then maybe that’s what’s causing it. They’ve gotten a lot worse since I’ve been restricting and over exercising, so that’s probably what it is.
I’m glad you recovered. I’m not bulimic I’m pretty sure, because, even though I’ve been tempted to, I haven’t purposely made myself throw up. I’m thinking I have atypical anorexia, but I don’t want to recover yet. That’s the big issue, is I want to recover so I can be better, but I’m extremely scared of gaining weight. Even muscle weight.
Thank you for letting me know. Most people on here are saying it can be normal, so I’ll take all of your words for it
Mmm I wouldn’t say so. You should be fine. Some people naturally run a little low. Plus I can’t really think of illnesses or pathologies that cause low body temp aside from…being cold. My natural body temp runs a bit lower than normal, at around 97.5.
If your low body temperature is being caused by your eating disorder, that can be serious and very dangerous. Even if you’re not ready to get better yet, I hope you’re talking to a counselor about this. It’s much easier to die of hypothermia if you’re severely underweight.
I’m not underweight, so I think I’m fine at the moment when it comes to hypothermia. Thank you for your concern.
