Is half and half a luxury?

What do you like in your coffee? I’ve decided to stop buying half and half and use milk because I’m poor.

After my last bill is paid this month I’ll have just about four hundred dollars for four weeks witch will go to food.

I like cream but it’s just extra calypso I always drink my coffee black

I drink my instant coffee flat white, it became a luxury just like tabbacco. But i don’t know where these items come from and under what circumstances the products are made, maybe its a fair trade these days and the workers getting fairly compensated.

I put milk in my coffee. half and half is good too but i don’t always buy it.

In England cream and half and half aren’t really had with coffee (not sure you can even buy half and half here). Everyone drinks milk with their coffee or has it black.

I dont drink coffee because it speads me up too much i drink tea though but only caffinated in the morning.

They don’t sell half and half out here in Australai. I miss it in my coffee but drink coffee with 2% milk. It’s a little healthier.

I use carnation powdered creamer…wife uses french vanilla liquid carnation creamer. we go through the coffee now…!!

I love that powdered creamer but dude…the ingredients are terrible. I had to quit it. But I always crave it in my coffee. So now I just mostly drink it black. Nothing else tastes as good so just forget it.

I mean, I suppose half & half could be considered a luxury item on one’s grocery list.

Milk works well as a multi-purpose (cereal, coffee, tea, baking/cooking) staple and close alternative, especially if you’re using 2% or the Vitamin D red label one. Those defos tend to be more on the creamier side than say, 1% or skim.

If you’re trying to quit dairy or something but still need creaminess in your beverages, then oat milk is pretty solid in that department.

…But sometimes it’s the little luxuries in life that can make our day that much better.

If you can spring for half & half, and don’t mind an extra item taking up space in the fridge, then I’d say live it up.
