I am start thinking English may be my first language. Why?
Does anyone use English and find it easy to build sentence?
The font style might be the issue here. It looks better with limited set of characters.
While each language is unique, the choice of using less complex language is appreciated.
english is very complex
I love english. I’m glad that I can use it so well. All the other languages have so many more sounds to them. Sounds that I dont like. English is very mechanical. I call it clear speak.

broken or slang is just conplexed to me if it wasn’t for the other counrtys funding one room school houses its be something else.
English is I believe the second most difficult language to learn underneath Mandarin Chinese.

Hadn’t heard that. I’ve failed to pick up any form of speech other than some spanish. I figured the were all more difficult. Just the pronunciations involved.
More difficult to us maybe, since we grew up speaking English ha

I find English to be very difficult for me to read, write and speak. English is my second language. …but it is nice to be able to communicate to other cultures in English

If I remember correctly English has the most words out of all languages or is up there. Not the most characters but the most words.
We do borrow words from other languages whenever we don’t have them ourselves. Science and taxonomy probably add a lot as well.

Forgot “Tough” which isnt even pronounced as its spelled.

All languages have rules to learn. But the rules in English language are so unwieldly because each rule typically encorporates so many exceptions.
