I just have trouble trusting the people who run them.
I was just going to say that too. Improper maintenance. Wear and tear. Improper design.
Too risky for me at any age.
Some people just have too much trust in things. It is like one guy who had complete faith in bungee cords and bungee jumping. He carefully calculated the length of his bungee cord by making it the same length as the jumping distance to the ground. Big mistake.
In this one, the woman survived with no broken bones. WOW !
Actually I seen a documentary of this Africans tribe that use vines tied together as poor manās bungee⦠Supposedly the closer you bungee jump to the ground the bigger man you are so you have first pick of the women⦠So the men intentionally make the vine too long⦠No joke. They often knock themselves out but hey guess Iād do it too if I lived in africa.
The only ride Iām not scared of is the teacups
I went on that exact ride as a kid and vomited immediately afterwards, I go on most rides nowadays but never that one.
When I was a teenager. I would spend a couple of weeks in the summer, at my grandma. I would go when the town had it annual homecoming. I picked that time because I would get a job helping to put the rides together. After seeing how the rides were put together. I did a good job. But I was just a teenage boy and they let me put the main nuts on that held it all together; I never rode a fast spinning ride again.
I like to ride the ferris wheel. I like looking down on what is going on.
Iām terrified of going on the inverted rollercoaster ride⦠the one that pays you⦠the theme park of small time jobs.
