Iran Admits Shooting down Passenger Jet in Error

This is why I refuse to travel to certain places. I will not fly anywhere near where there is trouble. It’s scary these things can happen

I’m with you. I wouldn’t fly over those sorts of places but it’s a common route to Europe for us out here.

The only plane I get into these days is virtual in my flight sim. Ironic that I can land a virtual Boeing 737 anywhere, but I refuse to set foot in one in real life.

I hope in light of this they adjust the flight paths.

Flying virtually is great. I never had a proper simulator before but I have played lots of war flight games before with a joystick on PC.

I only fly once a year when I go on holiday with family. From the UK you can get to Turkey and Egypt easily and cheaply, but I wouldn’t go to those places.

Probably the only day of the year the Iranian regime killed innocent people without actually intending to do it.

Hopefully this tragedy will help prevent a war for all the wrong reasons.

It’s so sad what has happened. You would have thought we learned from the Malaysia flight that got shot down over Ukraine

How do you mistake a plane for something else? Give me a break

They probably thought it was a military plane, not civilian.

Iran doesn’t learn from much – they’ve been openly executing their gay population forever. Would be nice to see some outrage about that.

This is a terrible tragedy for the crew and passengers on that plane and for their loved ones.
