Hi everyone, I had to be hospitalized in February and learned that I’ve did a psychosis. They gave me Invega Sustenna(injection form) to treat it but since then I’ve lost my erections. My prolactin tests came back normal so I assume it is the med that is still on me. I’m thinking about quitting the injection soon because of this so I was wondering if anyone had this side effect and if it came back after stopping the medication. I’m clearly hopeless, I’m 18 years old and I’m worrying it will never come back as before. I’ll keep you guys updated on how it is going when I’ll be able to stop the injections.

Thats psychosis. You must talk to your doc about your side effects and maybe you’ll have to swap antipsychotics with another because psychosis is toxic to the brain.
If you.got erectil dysfunction then don’t switch to the following antipsychotics.

hi i m on invega injections for 8 years .i used to have this problem at the beginning but it past by time.all i can say is you should wait for just 1 or 2 years(i know its long) i can definitely say that its temporary.
It’s probably from dopamine or testosterone/bmi, don’t stop taking your meds.
