Here in Massachusetts, anyone who says she’s a counselor is one. Just hang out a sign!
Because anyone who says she is a counselor is a counselor, we have addiction specialists with no high school education. Also, people who call themselves “Psychics” simply hang out a sign saying Psychic Counselor.
But one needs to have degrees and so forth to get third party billing.

I did a peer support course and studied counselling at college as well as care, but i am still a bit of an idiot, i try and say all the right things but i get it wrong sometimes, i’m not perfect.
