Instant tea

Anyone ever tried instant tea (if its a thing). Like a powdered tea to mix in water like instant coffee. I think I would like this as I drink a lot of tea

They used to have it back in the 1960’s & 70’s when I was a kid and teenager.

I’ve tried instant sweet tea but didn’t like it too much.

When I think about it tea bags are about as quick as it gets. Today I put water in coffee maker but no coffee or filter just so I can get hot water. When I poured it over a tea bag it basically came to full strength tea within seconds. Sometimes I like cold tea tho

I drink instant tea every day since the middle of 2017. I’m kind of addicted to it. But my main reason to buy it, is that, it only cost 1.59€, I live in a kitchen so there is always water. And I don’t have to carry big packs of water or ice tea couple times a week.

I think it is 400 gramm for 1.59€. It lasts me about a week. I often buy two different. Now having one peach tea and one lemon tea as instant tea. But the taste could be critical if you are used to regular tea.

@cigarino you can find instant tea in every grocery store in the USA. It’s for cold tea (we call it iced tea) though. Maybe cos iced tea is a thing in the states. What kind of instant tea? Cold?
