I think that psychosis happens for one reason…person with scz cant incorporate with society. I see that people with scz are withdrawn and dont know what to do about it. I personally believe that a person thinks himself to psychosis cause he doesnt like the environment. As soon as they calm down in a hospital environment their mental health improves. The solution i think would be teaching how to unite with society in a way that it would be pleasent for the schizophrenia patient.
I agree. 100%. I never was met with any kindness or love or even just a basic level of understanding from society. I went from being a kid to someone I felt was look at like a homeless bum.
But you gotta realize the little things that me make huge in our mind isn’t even thought about m9re than a second to normal people.
Yes…but im realizing what i want is a new world. And thats too much to ask. By enviroment and society i mean the world. To make society pleasent for scz patient you have to change the planet into a paradise basically. I even went far enough to wish for the republic of schizophrenia. To take it all together …to get complete cure for schizophrenia we have to change the world into a pleasent place. People get sick from the evil they experience.
I don’t agree, I’m outside of this nefarious society and I’m not psychotic.
It is impossible! I can not work full time anymore. I get along with friends and it is okay (most of the time) But putting myself out there will make my symptoms a lot worse.
It is difficult for me too. I’ve been isolating for so long now that I felt odd when I went to buy my brother in law a bottle of whiskey. I felt incredibly out of place and a bit fidgety.
I’ve been able to incorporate myself with other students in a school setting. None of them knew that I was schizophrenic nor did I express any symptoms.
If that was the cause u would be able to think ur way out of schizophrenia
You’re right. I’m still not sure if the world we see with our illness is the real world. I feel like it’s the underbelly of it all .
Agreed. People with mental illness need a therapeutic village or town or city all to themselves just as much as people with learning difficulties do. That is obvious; Patients leave hospital only to return to the bear pit and fall ill again.
The competitive structure of modern society is partly responsible for the growing epidemic of people becoming sick with mental illness. I would, however, go further and say people get sick with mental illness as they gestate in the womb. It is present long before any complicated interactions with things like environment, parental strategies, and nutrition. No utopia can stop that.
