I was 41 when I first posted on schizophrenia.com . In a few months I’ll be 68. There have been a few blips. A few very short lived breaks. Overall though my time here has been more than good. A lot of that can be attributed to the many fine people who post here, and moderating which is of a higher quality than others forums I’ve been on.
This is the forum I feel most at home on. I can identify more with the life experiences of others here, as people with mental illness, than is the case with other forums. Be they mental illness and/or autism related.
A website is only as good as its members, and you’re a prime example of that. I’m grateful for your extraordinary dedication over the last 27 years. You’re truly an inspiration.
I’m 41 now, 27 years ago I was still in middle school, had just learnt the word schizophrenia from a mob-themed movie series. Would never have guessed I’d someday get to experience it firsthand.
