I am in my best friend’s wedding in two weeks. I’m so excited. I even lost 10 lbs so the dress looks okay on me. This is the first wedding I’ve been a bridesmaid.

That’s so exciting! I was in my best friend’s wedding a few years back. Be prepared to step in and fix things on a moment’s notice, and to comfort her nerves. You’re going to have a fun time. Is there a bachelorette party planned?

Wow, that’s awesome! I’ve never been to a wedding, and probably wouldn’t enjoy sitting through one, but it’s so nice to me that two people can love each other so much that they want to be together forever. Whether or not the marriage lasts doesn’t change the sanctity of a day such as this.
