I’ve been on here practically all day, browsing and occasionally commenting. I’m just so bored and have nothing else to do. It’s addictive. I think I need to get a life

Well I’ll just say I was clean for a while but I relapsed back to my addiction recently. Started off thinking I could handle a few posts here and there. Lemme tell you. 1 is too many and 1000 never enough

It’s an obsession for me but unlike my last therapist, my new therapist wants me to spend a lot of time on here.
She feels that it’s a good way to socialize.
I told her that I spend many hours a day on here and she had no problem with it as long as I’m still able to help around the house and cater to my puppy, which I’m able to.
My psychiatrist also feels that spending a lot of time on an online mi forum is beneficial also.

I spend a lot of time on here and I sometimes have trouble maintaining a balance between here and real life. Sometimes Mr. Star asks me to go on hiatus for a day or two. It’s not just this site, though. I spend too much time on lots of sites.

I really don’t beat myself up for the amount of time I spend on here.
I enjoy you guys a lot even though my postings on the Say Anything thread are basically the same everyday.

I spend a fair amount of time reading the forum, but my social anxiety keeps me from posting very often. I think it is helpful in a way, reading about people struggling with the same issues.

I take lots of breaks, but I am on here pretty much from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed most days. It helps me a lot, but I do need to take breaks

I go through phases and don’t know why… but I think I’m on more during Winter and the dark months.

I’m on here average a couple hours a day sometimes more. I need to get off the couch and clean my yard.
