I had diarrhea first, then a sore throat, and now a temp of 100.2F this morning. One of my friends who works in a store came home sick with it, and his girlfriend caught it too. This stuff is spreading like wildfire.

I just was comparing notes with my friends, and whatever this illness is started with diarrhea with them too. I’m pretty sure I caught it at my psych clinic or riding on the bus Wednesday. They aren’t masking up on the bus or clinic anymore. The doctor’s office is enforcing masks and hand sanitizer though. I came down with diarrhea before the doctor’s office, so I’m sure I didn’t catch it there.

My friend thinks Alka seltzer Cold Medicine is best, but I’m going to talk to a pharmacist about itand have them send me something with my antidepressant I’m out of.
The usual flu was really bad this year out here even with the covid. It seemed to be way worse than the omicron anyways and the people I know who got it had worse symptoms. Crazy times but it’s not suprising. It’s been a weird couple of years for getting bugs for sure.

Thanks Rogueone. I had a flu shot and Omicron variant booster shot September 16th, so I have no idea what this is.

I’m so sorry you are sick. That’s just miserable. Keep in mind that you can catch Covid or the flu even with the shots. Shots decrease your chances, but they don’t eliminate them. Shots may also make the illness less severe in the event you do catch it.
