I’m cooking it in my CrockPot slow cooker. I have a 2 lb. beef round roast thrown in with beef stock, carrots, onions and potatoes. Seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. I’m cooking it on low for 9 hours. Gonna have good eats for a while now.
That sounds amazing! I bet it’ll be fantastic! Tell me how it tastes?
Sure I will. I’ll know by tomorrow at around noon.
I got the recipe from the internet.
You should try throwing a jar of banana peppers in some time. It’s very tasty.
Sounds good @SkinnyMe!
That does sound good but I don’t have a jar of banana peppers. I do have a jar of sliced jalapeño peppers.
Sounds soooo yummy
It’s the juice that makes the roast flavorful. The brine from the jar.
Jalapeno would just make it spicy, but the banana pepper ls and juice tenderizes.
I’ll try to remember that next time I make a roast. Thanks.
You’re welcome. Someone told me once and I love doing it now. You can use mild or hot.
That sounds really good.I never thought about putting warchastister sauce in.
Have you tried making chili? I love chili!
I make killer chili. 151515
@SkinnyMe really!? I only make okay chili
Yes. My chili is thick, very tasty, and has both meat and beans. And I always add cheddar cheese and raw onions at serving time. Yum yum.
My grandma is the best cook in the world. With that said, will you be my second grandma. I could always use more amazing food.
I haven’t made a pot roast in a long time. I prefer making an English roast in the oven. But now I might make that soon. I just haven’t thought about it in a while, but it does sound good
@SkinnyMe that sounds amazing, I hope you enjoy
I’m happy to be anyone’s second grandma or aunt. Just call me Auntie or Aunt G.
