It seems harder to cook a homemade pizza then get a takeaway. Takeaway pizza is better. I could save the £15 though. I’m already fat as it is!
I would say a big fat “ARSE” to it mate, and get the takeaway lol.
Take a pita bread, smear it with some crushed tomato, put some basil, salt and pepper on that, then put on your toppings and some cheese. Bake until cheese is melted. There’s your nice, inexpensive, low-carb pizza.

Keep some pitas in the freezer and pull one one out when you want a pizza. Keep some good cheese on hand and some toppings you like. You’ll save a bundle of dosh towards your vacations, mate.
Pita pizza is my go to pizza snack when I get the za craving. Sometimes I use low calorie low carb tortillas, throw on some sauce and toppings and toss it in the air fryer.
My pizza sauce is just canned crushed tomato spread on the crush with salt and pepper. I put some fresh basil leaves on the crust and use more for garnish if I have them. Otherwise, I sprinkle dried basil on the sauce and then add toppings. No need to buy prepared pizza sauce.
I need to grow some basil in the garden next year. I’ll try this tip next time I make some, as the premade pizza sauce isn’t my favorite. Thanks for sharing!

Tonight I made myself a high protein pita bread vegan pizza. It had canned pizza sauce, pizza seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, diced red bell pepper, green bell pepper and black olives. I baked it per the high protein pita bread directions. It was delicious!
Make something else or homemade pizza, even though it takes some time.
I’m a hypocrite. We had takeaway this evening. My wife and I had a challenging day and neither of us had the energy to cook. I kept it down to two slices of medium-sized vegetarian pizza and will finish the day within my calorie budget.
