I’d be a thrasher, unable to claim a comfortable place.
If it’s which one I would be based on me now, I think crow. I like shiny things, pretty smart, but a little weird lol.
If it’s what I’d like to be, eagle. Majestic, strong, good predictor instead of prey.

I’d be a paragrin falcon, because I can dive bomb/fall quicker than any living creature on this planet.
Goldfinch though most songbirds will do.

I’d be a cardinal. My Dads favorite bird. He told my SMOM that he would come “back” to her as one… every time I see one, I think of him.
A parrot. You get to live in a tropical paradise and live like 70 years.
