To be a really good cook.

Get a job at a restaurant. I worked in several restaurants and moved around the kitchen. BBQ, Salads, desserts, food prep, etc… you learn a lot about food theory, I am a pretty good cook now. Doing that job was fine when I was younger but I would never work at a restaurant again, too fast paced and high stress.
