What’s it like it sure does look beautiful
I don’t live in snow per say but we have had quite a bit of it this winter and it’s a nightmare. Pretty but a nightmare.
I can only imagine how fun snowboarding or skiing is
It’s pretty on Christmas. After that it gets old.
It’s very pretty, but very dangerous. I live in the third snowiest city in the world. We have hundreds of snow plows, and silos full of road salt. And still, we sometimes have to drive over a foot of snow. We need special tires, and sometimes chains on those tires. My husband even needs to wear chains on his shoes when he is working outside.
But we can also go sledding, and build snowmen. We have icicle sword fights and make snow candy with maple syrup. We get to sit indoors, looking out at the snow with mugs of hot cocoa.
Visit Canada, if you like snow!
No you don’t trust me
Well most of the snow in town has melted but the surrounding mountains are all covered. Every time the wind blows you feel the chill of the snow through you bones. It’s a strange sensation to be out enjoying a sunny day and then wham. Personally I’m quite ready for the warmer weather. I know! I’ll mail you our snow lol.
I miss the smaller snows from some winters in Arkansas. It never got too bad, so it was always just enough snow to play in!
I liked the snow in Indiana, USA. It was enough that you would get a few feet once in a while to play in, but they also had the means to effectively clear roads.
Here in Oregon we rarely get snow, and only an inch or three when we do, so we’re not at all equipped to handle it. Last year we had a snow storm and school buses and everyone else was stuck on the interstate on the way home for over 8 hours. It was bad. This year it only snowed one day and was gone by the next day.
I’ve only seen snow twice. It’s too hot where I live to get snow
Come to Canada. You can have all the snow we don’t want, and transport it back to where you live.
I wish I could experience snow too. We don’t get it in Cape Town. I went twice as a child to the rural mountainous areas outside the city to see some snow but I would love to experience it more, especially a snowfall and watch the flakes fall down. I get so envious when I see it on TV. Hubby and I want to visit Canada, hopefully by the end of this year
