Would it hurt to take my meds an hour before the time I take my meds regularly?

In my opinion that would be fine.

The meds build up in your body slowly. Then they reach a “steady state” eventually.

Taking a med an hour earlier isn’t going to make any difference.

I don’t want to give you dangerous or bad or wrong advice but I take mine an hour earlier than usual if I’m going out that night. And when I lived at the board & care home for five years they would give me my meds an hour earlier because I left the home early to go to AA meetings all the time. It might depend on which medication you’re taking as to whether you can take it early or not. I’m on Seroquel.

If I can’t stay up for some reason I will take it even two hours earlier…you’ll be fine…glad to hear you so stable…and taking your meds…it must be working…so happy for you girl. You are so awesome. @roxanna

@77nick77 what dosage of Seroquel do you take? I was wondering what a good dosage is if I ever have to bail on my fluphenazine.

I’m on 400 mg a night. But as you’ve read on here many times, everybody is different and can react to medications differently. What works for me may not work for you.

I’m on 200 mg of the xr kind and 2 mg of abilify but I’ve been out of my abilify for a couple days
