She’s obviously got talent, but I hold it against her that she is very good looking too…that is the recipe for pop music these days…get a good looking girl that writes her own songs and she is a gazillionaire. I think her writing on “midnights” sounded a lot like her other songs already…your view?

Problem is internet and ease with which people can launch themselves so to speak. Which has led people who were talented and popular to begin with to become lot more popular.
There are so many these days artists and people who were doing well already their popularity got disproportionately amplified thanks to internet.
There are plenty of unattractive singers these days. I don’t think holding that against her is fair

I think she is talented but there are much more my cup of tea singers out there 4 sure.
She wins so many of those singing medals. And is often top of the charts

I do really like a few of her old songs and she brings back some kind of good memories through my experiences associated with some of her songs.

I always thought it was hard to believe her early songs about being an outcast. Like really? You think you’re the dork? Okay… I mean she was so pretty.
That was back when I had just graduated high school and she was just getting her start. Nowadays she’s just ridiculously popular and I don’t really understand why. Like lots of pop stars, I find that a lot of her songs sound very similar, as is the case with Katy Perry. I highly prefer classic and alternative rock.

I almost never listen to her music and when I do, it all sounds the same to me too but her list of accomplishments speaks for itself. I don’t take much stock in calling a major star over rated . Certain artists are always going to hear it, from the Beatles to Elton John to Billy Joel to Garth Brooks to Hall & Oates and so on. All of them could be considered good looking too by the way but I don’t think anyone holds it against them.

Personally, I’m not that into her music but I’ve heard some and it doesn’t annoy me.

I have seen some of her videos where she goes crazy on some poor guy. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to date her.

My station has lots of Swift (mostly remixes). No Eagles or Credence. A couple of Beatles tunes, but they’re recent remixes or bootlegs.

Yeah there’s also synth wave which is kind of like 80s music. You might like that… Trevor Something and Timecop1983 are awesome
