I was just watching a TV show and suddenly noticed that the guest’s response to the host was extremely fast, like not the speech itself but I was waiting for the reply and suddenly I realized that the guest had started replying like before I had even expected the hear a reply and I deduced that maybe my brain had paused for a second and I just kind of realized it and then I started wondering if maybe I do this often without realizing it.

Yeah i do this too. I think it comes from over analyzing and thinking too much before speaking

I have similar problems because my processing speed for everything is bad.

I was diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder and I think it’s a cognitive issue caused by my SZA. I use subtitles now whenever I watch a show or movie and it helps me a LOT. I don’t know how I ever survived before without subtitles… I miss so much of what is being said without them.
