First you must take those medication that causes tons of side effect,weight gains,sexual side effect
second you must deal with the left over psychosis or occasionally depression,the depression especially sucks
third you had to live with a weaker willpower and lesser desire to socialize
God,the next life please please don’t let me suffer any form of mental illness,i rather be a little poor but enjoy life with laughter…but wait i still had the chance to live a life,sorry about the rant

Schizophrenia sucks but try not to waste the life you’ve been given. There’s no guarantee something is waiting for you on the other side.
Pursue something of interest to you. I enjoy spending my time in books.
I think the biggest problem with this illness is learning to come to grips with it.
Who ever said life had to be fair? It wasn’t fair as a kid and it’s not fair as an adult. As a fellow schizophrenic I understand the sentiment. But look at the big picture. Look at all the crap that goes on in the world on a daily basis. Do you think ISIS cared about the feelings of the several people they beheaded? Or do you think the president of Syria cared about the feelings of his own citizens that he gassed? Sure we have one of the worst diseases in the world. But people around the world are being exterminated like animals every day. And we have shootings every day here in the U.S. At least we have outlived many people and if you are on a computer and you have food, a roof over your head and running water than you are better off than 80% of the world.,
