i called my case manager about how i was feeling. she said that i should get use to not being appreciated. i do try even my mother in law says i try but she said she knows how upset i would be if any of the animals were sick or dying which i was made more upset to be honest.
Never settle…I hope that someday you will be able to get to a place where you will be appreciated.
Soon I’m going to be volunteering at my local nature center caring for animals and educating people about them. I wonder if you could do something similar? To do what you love and are good at but in an environment that would appreciate you and be grateful.

I volunteer at a animal shelter about 45 minutes away. My mother in law convinced me to volunteer with her little girl because she didn’t want to. There are two shelters closer to us but my partner’s little sister doesn’t want to quit the one that is farther away because of a certain dog there that she really wants wants.
I also talked to my case manager about getting my pills sent to my house but she said because of people not taking their meds or worse people stealing them they send them to their clinic

you sound busy cbbrown, its not nice if an animal is sick or dying but if they were it certainly would not be your fault bc i know you care for them a lot, i’ve been lazy, i need to change some water in my fish tank, its been about 2 weeks now nearly, the plants are dying in it as well 
the fish are ok though.

Well the last animal that got sick was Leo my in laws bearded dragon. Last time he got sick was from parasites. I think he is just not doing well. I dust his food three times a week with calcium and twice a week I dust with multivitamin. He gets protein and greens. I don’t know what could be wrong I tried to offer better food but he sleeps all day
maybe he is depressed, lacking stimulation, maybe he needs a mate

I have been soaking him every couple of days he hates it and it helped for awhile. I think he is having problems going to the bathroom. It’s consistent he poops every time something is binding him up. I think it’s the cabbage and cauliflower my in-laws give him its not good for him it binds the calcium and blocks it’s absorbing into the blood stream
