I still listen to his music when I feel like being courageous from listening to someone scream in angst. Kurt was so sensitive and funny…when he was happy…I wish he was still here…anybody else?
My husband got to meet him at a small venue in Seattle when he was a very young teenager.
Said he was nice.
I love Nevermind and the Unplugged albums. I think it’s a tragedy with what happened to Kurt.
That is so awesome your hubby got to meet him.
It’s a horrible azz shame what happened to him though. I don’t get hung up on celebrities in general but he had a soul for music.
He used to absolutely unique taste of music.he was just so unique and special.he was like grunge’s kierkegaard
People envy rock stars, but a lot of them die young from deaths of despair. I don’t think would want to be a rock star.
Some things are bigger than life
He’ll go down as the James Dean of my generation I think. I was also sad to hear of Anthony Bourdain’s passing.
The deaths of Kurt Cobain and Anthony Bourdain hit me very hard.
To this day the loss of Anthony Bourdain feels akin to having lost a friend somehow to me.
I was jamming to Nirvana recently and thinking about him. He was really troubled which I can relate to. Also having a hard time differentiating between punk and grunge, his music sounds a lot like punk to me, maybe just punk inspired.
I read alot about Mr. Cobain.
Poor guy suffered from stomach problems.
Me too @schizophrenisaurus
Very sad
I never liked Nirvana, their music.
I don’t know much about Kurt as a person to comment on him.
Hmm. . .
There Is An Album Called ‘Montage Of Heck’ That I Think Was Jus Released.
I Found It A Couple Weeks Back And It Has Some Fun Bare Bones Acoustic Song’s.
If I Remember Correctly. And He’s Even Jus Rambling Like An Odd Drunk On Some Tracks.
It’s Fun And Takes Me Back To My Years Of High School.
It Was A Great Find. And Made A Great Morning Of Remembrance.
Even Started Singing With Him In Alien Esperanto And It Felt Like He Was Still Alive.
Like I Was On The Spiritual Phone With Him. Strange.
N e Hoo. . .
Kurt Began My Studies The Day He Wandered On.
And I Will Continue As Far As The Fates Allow.
Rock On KURT (!!!).
I used to listen to his music, not anymore.his music is nice when your young and angry.
I miss him.i get stomach problems.rip.kurt cobalt.
His songs hit hard, he was going to make a whole acoustic studio album so tragic how all ended.
I pretty much view grunge as a sub genre of punk. It just got hijacked by the mainstream because of fashion and money.
I felt sorry for Kurt for being a tortured drug addict. I still have anger thinking about his suicide. Maybe that is selfish. I used to love grunge but more Soundgarden. I loved Chris Cornell and his amazing voice. It’s weird but I can’t relate as I don’t think that I have a suicidal thought in my life.
