Symptoms make school difficult to attend. They struck me senior year of high school so University was a no go at the time and still may be, especially given the cost of college and my lack of funds.
I’m hoping to be well enough again that I can attend school. I think getting my body into shape will go a long way toward improving my mental health, so I’ve been focusing on getting my weight down and fitness up.
I have always had aspirations of being an author.
What do you plan to do with your language studies in terms of career? Do you have career plans?
I think if I learned Japanese well enough I could move to Japan and get a decent teaching job… IDK. I hear that pays pretty well.
Oh, yeah, I have career plans. I want to work with translations from English to Brazilian Portuguese. I’m also discovering my passion for literature and writing, so maybe I’ll also work with it in the future.
Have you ever tried paleo diet or keto diet? I lost around to 7kg since December with keto diet.
I’ve done a lot of stuff with my diet over the years. Right now I’m almost strictly vegan (With momentary lapses here or there.). I’ve heard about paleo diet, my sister does that one herself, but it involves a lot of cooking and preparation.
I’m a little wary of the keto diet, as I think it’s more for people who are more active than me. I’m more of a mind to do portion control and vegetarian diet. It’s better for me, at least until my weight loss tapers off and I have to start exercising to lose more.
Translation sounds like it could be fun. I imagine there’s some room for creativity in turning the English concepts and phrases into ideas that may be unique to the other language, such as Brazilian Portuguese.
I like to read more and to hear music or movies in English language. I’m not good at translation.
