I shouldn't be worried

i’m a little worried about my brother. he is bipolar and has adhd and autism. he doesn’t see a doctor hasn’t in years and he may just lose his ssi. my parents are kicking him out soon because he is violent towards them and abusive. i just don’t want him to wind up on the streets or worse in jail or prison. he needs meds but he doesn’t see it that way. he was medicated for years but he doesn’t want to be on them anymore and hasn’t in a very long time. he claims a have a full liver. why am i worried about that ■■■■■■■!? he has always treated me like crap!

He is your brother. It’s natural to worry.

Yeah I suppose, I called the police from where I live to where my parents live about my brother abusing our parents.

You are not responsible for the actions of another fully grown adult. If he makes those decisions, he has to be ready to accept the consequences. That’s just the sad truth. I’m sorry he is refusing to act responsibly.

He feels the world owes him. That our parents owe him. He claims he was taking care of our dad. The only thing he did was go get our parents alcohol, weed and cigarettes. He enabled them.
