I say all us older folks have a thread about things that only we will remember

We played outside. Stayed outdoors until our parents made us come in.

What a fun thread. The only thing I have experience with is the Atari. I’ve heard of a lot of this stuff and even saw how much some of these things go for at auction.

@Bowens I was all into He-Man and Transformers. My brother was into GI Joe and Transformers. I still have a lot of them.

I lost Battle Cat’s helmet a long time ago…

Yes!! And the Star Wars/Christmas/Holiday toys box that was just an empty box with no toys, just a note guaranteeing you some when they were finally mass produced!

This is mine from the 70s when I was a kid. Still has Star Wars figures in it. Found it when cleaning up after my father passed away. Going to give it to my son when he comes to visit for Thanksgiving. I told him it’s invaluable.

I remember that head! It was that one and a C-3PO one, for holding your action figures!

Ok – I don’t know how to make a poll, but how many of y’all saw the very first Star Wars in the theater? (I did.)

I saw it at the drive in. I was very young and I believe I fell asleep.

I was 4. I remember going really well. I remember which theater. It was soooo crowded, we had to take seats in the front row. Kinda intense for the jump to light speed!
