I saw the University Disability Services today

My case manager thinks I should still take a class at the local university this fall. The Disability Services counselor knew a lot about Sz and asked me several questions about mine, one of which was did I need to get up frequently and take a break. I told him I could sit still for an hour long group therapy.

I also told him in the last year I switched to a newer AP, and my mind was more clear now where I was pretty sedated.

He’s going to arrange for me to have alternative testing where you have a longer time to complete an exam, and he wants me to try their reading lab with some type of audio books.

They apparently have dealt with other students with Sz before, and the counselor being familiar with the condition was nice.

That’s awesome. Further education is very important and will hopefully open new doors for you in future. Good luck!
